I’ve been creating innovative, exuberant, and responsive graphic design, promotional materials, animated media, and film media for the past decade. I believe beautiful design in all things is a necessary and joyful element of moving through our lives. Everyone deserves the thrill and pleasure of good design.

Before pivoting to focus on graphic design, I created theater productions as a stage director, writer, and theater designer, and I also worked in higher education as a theater professor. Creating theater is visual and narrative storytelling - as is graphic design.

From skills gained and honed by creating and promoting plays, musicals, and performances, I bring an extremely playful spirit to my work in graphic design as well as an open, collaborative working style, a careful eye continuously trained on details, and a highly organized approach to projects. I excel in idea generation, problem-solving, and communication - qualities that deeply benefit graphic design.

I have created digital and printed assets for different types of promo needs, designed new business branding, created print posters and programs as well as digital assets for theater promo and education promo, created dynamic moving media for social media, and served as creator, art director, and editor for promotional film trailers.
